Report shows universities can lead America's shift to 100% renewable energy

America’s colleges and universities are positioned to lead the transition to 100 percent renewable energy, according to a report released today by Environment America Research & Policy Center at Georgetown University.

Two weeks ago, Environment America, together with the U.S. Student Public Interest Research Groups (PIRGs), launched a campaign to work with colleges and universities in the United States to adopt 100 percent renewable energy goals.
