Critical races across the country

The 2006 elections changed the political dynamics of the environment in Congress. In the last two years, we’ve seen fewer special interest attacks on environmental protections and more forward-looking proposals.

Unfortunately, we still see real progress blocked—all too often by just a handful of votes. In the Senate, a relatively small group of Republicans blocked clean energy investments and renewable energy standards, the ongoing debate on global warming, and important protections for our nation’s waterways.

Congressional races
Environment America has endorsed a team of congressional candidates that will bring new leadership, strengthen the environmental majority, and help overcome some of the worst obstacles to change in the 111th Congress.

We need more volunteers and more Grassroots Members to make our plan a reality. Please consider signing up as a Grassroots Member.
