Protect Roadless Forests

The forest service is threatening to open some of our largest and most valuable roadless forests in Alaska, Idaho and Colorado to mining, drilling, and logging. Ask Forest Service Chief Gail Kimbell to ensure strong protections for our last pristine national forests.

Letter	Dear Chief Kimball, America’s last pristine national forests deserve the strongest possible protections. Unfortunately, recent attempts to undermine the 2001 Roadless Area Conservation Rule will leave some of our largest and most valuable roadless forests in Alaska, Idaho and Colorado vulnerable to mining, logging, and drilling. The American public has voiced their opinion time and time again, asking that these wild places be protected. Please use your leadership to ensure that these national forests will be around for future generations. Sincerely,
